Customer Reviews

"Lots of food for the price! Side salad was huge. Special open face roast beef was delicious and green beans seasoned perfectly with bacon. Chicken strips were hot and very good. We were too full for homemade dessert. Service was fast and friendly. Cafe is mom & pop style in an older building. That's our favorite restaurant style."

"This place tasted like HOME. Everything we had was great when we went for dinner. I almost wanted to cry because it made me just reminiscent of my grandmother's cooking I haven't had since young adulthood. Now, we went back for breakfast and it was a completely different experience. We were both served old microwave biscuits and old gravy. The food was just not good but I would still give it another chance as I was so blown away by dinner. Service was good. Except if they mess up your order and you try to have it corrected but they don't like being told of any mistakes which is all good not a big deal but yeah lol"

"Waitress was overworked because so many people kept coming in, but did her best. She was nice. Food was good. I really liked the hot honey fries chicken sandwich I had. Okra was cooked just right. Fish was cooked through and hush puppies had good flavor. Seems like the oil was a little hot, so they left the fish in longer than it should have been left in. But I'd rather have well done than raw in the middle. Thought about a piece of pie, but didn't get one. I'll try it next time. Or come back at breakfast."

"Catfish was overcooked. Really good hush puppies though. They were busy when we went, and it's a fairly small business, which is important to note, but service was sub par. It is rated as highly as I did because there's not a whole lot in the area, Michelin might like this place more for that same reason. Decent enough quality in food, rather pricey."

"Nice little local place. Good atmosphere. Service was mostly good. Food was a little disappointing. I ordered the Bacon Mushroom Swiss burger with grilled jalapenos added to it. There was no bacon on it. There were no mushrooms on it. The burger patty was kind of bland. Fries were good. Buns were good."

"Amazing deal with great food. The service was very fast and friendly. The menu is very large and diverse. Definitely recommend in you're in Noel or the surrounding area!"

"Excellent service, great portions, home style cooked real good real food. Cozy venue, one of those do called Mom and Pop type places, with checking out. Nothing fancy just American comfort roadside style. I order Monday's special chili cheeseburger and fries with Dr pepper and strawberry milkshake. All was delicious."
